Our R129 i-size Isofix Softness® OLYMP car seat has been tested by the very demanding car safety associations ADAC (Germany) and TCS (Switzerland) and has been awarded “Satisfactory” and “3 stars”.
This is a great acknowledgement of the work done by our teams to develop this new seat, in order to guarantee safety and comfort to the children pleasantly installed aboard OLYMP.
This year, the tests have been toughened with new protocols and scales, and are so not comparable with those of previous years. These scores therefore represent good results in the arduous category of 76-150 cm seats, where Renolux is a pioneer by entering this segment in response to the requirements of the new R129 standard and the expectations of parents. We thus offer a seat that is highly scalable and ideal for accompanying the child throughout its growth.
Three 76-150 cm seats were tested, and OLYMP received a rating that corresponds to the highest level awarded in this category to date.
in particular for :
• ITS SAFETY : efficiency in crash-tests, stability in the vehicle, low risk of injury in a side impact collision
• ITS ERGONOMIC DESIGN and EASE OF USE : low risk of misuse, easy height adjustment (especially appreciated for perfectly adapting to the size of the child), quality of its user guide : instructions for use and warnings are very easy to understand
• ITS COMFORT : very good padding, very comfortable legrest, good space for the child, good finishes.

Olymp benefits from our unique and patented Softness® Technology which guarantees the best of comfort and safety, and is made in France within our Renolux factory.
It is very easy to install in the vehicle thanks to its 2 Isofix connectors on telescopic rails and its Top Tether, and offers top-of-the-range features :
– high quality finishes, soft and durable fabric with topstitches for extra softness,
– ingenious spaces to store the removable extra side protections or the foldaway harness,
– with removable reducer and a headrest which is widely height adjustable for a very long use service life.
Its R129 i-size approval guarantees that it can adapt to the most of body types of carried children (from 76 to 150 cm : approx. from 15 months to 12 years) and ensuring that it can fit in all the passenger seats of vehicles declared as “i-size” by car manufacturers.
For toddlers from 76 cm, the OLYMP car seat is to be used with a very soft removable reducer and a 5-point safety harness.
When the child grows up to over 100 cm, the seat transforms into a very comfortable booster seat without harness.
Its carefully finished cover is available in 3 colours : red, blue, black.
